The one thing that I love about summer time, is that you can go to the farmers market and get the freshest fruits and veggies. I planted a garden again this year, but the Farmer's Market is a great place to shop locally while waiting for your harvest to bloom. I still need to go strawberry picking but I think it is great that you can make your own jams and can preserve your summer in mason jars. They make lovely unique gifts for all occasions.
